Fiber attenuator with connectors SC/APC-female and SC/APC-male. Works with both 1310 and 1550nm wavelenght, attenuation value equals 5db. Fiber optic attenuator is responsible for reducing optical power of transmitted signal. Installation and removal of the attenuator is easy.
Attenuators in plastic housings of plug-and-socket type (f/m) with SC/APC interface and 5dB attenuation value are used where it is necessary to increase loss of optical signal. Attenuation of optical power results due to the need to match signal parameters to the level accepted by the receiver. This product has been designed for a wide range use, mainly in telecommunications and cable TV (CATV).
