OPTIX Saver Z-XOTKtsdDb (Glass yarns): reduced diameter cable, lightweight multi-tube construction, high flexibility and dragging resistance, central strengthening element (FRP rod), gel and water blocking construction (WB), moisture absorbing fibres (WSY) / damp-proof tape, fully dielectric, reinforced with glass fibre, HDPE coating, UV resistance, temperature range from -40°C… + 60°C, equivalent Saver Z-XOTKtsdDb. Maximum tension strength: 1 800N.

All fibres and tubes of the cable are color coded according to the eia/tia-598 coding standard. Each tube containing up to 24 optical fibres is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect the fibres against moisture and vibration. The cable centre is protected against water penetration with moisture absorbing fibres or damp-proof tape. The cable tubes and filling elements are twisted around a central strengthening element - the FRP rod. Two threads embedded in the sheath are used to facilitate removal of the cable's outer sheath (ripcords). The cables are intended for installation in primary and secondary telecommunication sewage systems using pneumatic (blowing) and mechanical (pulling) methods.
