UniFi AC SHD is one of the more advanced and also very efficient Ubiquiti access points. The device is powered by an Ethernet cable using PoE technology compliant with the 802.3at standard. It operates simultaneously in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band offering a maximum operating range of 122 meters and performance up to 2533 Mb / s. The efficiency of the radio module with a transmission power of 25 dBm is fully compatible with the 802.11ac standard in Wave 2 and 4 antennas with a gain of 6 dBi (4x4 MU-MIMO). What distinguishes UAP-AC-SHD from the series of devices is an additional built-in dual-band SHD (Security High Density) module, which is used for continuous monitoring of the radio environment, protecting users from threats. The extended protection and functionality it offers makes it ideal for banks, universities, hospitals and places where sensitive data requiring encryption is sent.
