The splice box is available in 4 versions: Type-A with wall fixing (D with thermo seal or D-D with mechanical seal) and Type-B with column fixing (D with thermo seal or D-D with mechanical seal).

The Tracom series of vertical splice box is equipped with fully hermetic, heat-sealed inlet/outlet ports. This type of enclosure is used to protect spliced fibre optic cables and branching applications. Material Polypropylene (PP) (in the previous version it was: Polycarbonate (PC)) making up the casing is made from a high quality material that is resistant to UV radiation, low (-40°C) and high (+60°C) temperatures, and chemicals making it suitable for overhead as well as duct and ground installations. It is designed for simple and efficient installation. The organisation of optical fibres in the enclosure is simplified by the optical fibre trays, which can be purchased separately, so that the client can decide whether they need them at all and in which quantities. All metal components of the box are made of corrosion-resistant materials. IP68 protection rating

The Tracom splice box kit includes:

  • 1pc bracket for fixing the enclosure to the wall/other object,
  • heat shrink sleeves to seal cable entries
  • splice covers,
  • tubes for fibre distribution,
  • aluminium adhesive tape to protect the cable during heat shrink sealing,
  • sandpaper,
  • paper labels,
  • self-adhesive tape
  • plastic cable ties
