The FTTX MDU B12 is a box-type enclosure with 14 inlet/outlet ports. This type of joint is used to protect spliced fibre optic cables and splitter applications in overhead and wall mounted fibre optic systems. The Polycarbonate (PC) material of the housing is a high quality material which is resistant to UV radiation, low (-40°C) and high (+60°C) temperatures, as well as chemicals, making it suitable for overhead, duct and buried installations. It is designed for simple and efficient assembly, while offering a well-proven fibre management system. All metal components of the box are made of corrosion-resistant materials.
