The Ubiquiti Professional Max 48 PoE is a high-performance Layer 3 Ethernet switch designed to meet the demands of modern networking environments. With its comprehensive features and robust capabilities, the switch can handle even the most demanding network traffic, providing seamless connectivity and optimal performance for all connected devices.

The switch powers demanding devices such as access points, IP cameras and VoIP phones with up to 60W PoE++ per port. Etherlighting ports helps to easily identify port location, speed/connectivity and native VLAN/network. Uninterrupted operation during power outages is ensured with DC backup power support. The switch can be easily managed and configured from a single, unified interface using the Ubiquiti UniFi Network Controller.

The USW-Pro-Max-48 PoE features a 1.3-inch touchscreen LCM that provides connection status information and is used for easy monitoring and quick troubleshooting. The compact size, fanless design and included mounting brackets make the unit easy to install in a rack.

The UniFi Switch Pro Max 48 PoE is managed and configured by the UniFi Network Controller with support for UniFi mobile apps. The UniFi Network Controller can provision UniFi devices, map networks and quickly manage system traffic from anywhere. The USW-Pro-24 is equipped with a set of advanced Layer 2 switching protocols and functions, including mode of operation (switching, mirroring or aggregation) per port. In addition to switching protocols and Layer 2 functions, the switch offers Layer 3 features such as inter-VLAN routing, static routing and DHCP server functionality.

UniFi is rapidly evolving into a full SDN (Software-Defined Networking) solution with seamless integration of high-performance switching.

UniFi Pro switches support an external DC input interface, the USP RPS interface, as an additional power function for backup in case of internal power supply failure.
