Product information:

Optical fibre adapter (centring connector) for connecting multimode OM1, OM2, OM3 transmission patchcords terminated with LC duplex connectors. Passive network element for connecting optical fibres in a precisely centred air gap via an optical plug.

 

The LC duplex multimode fibre optic adapter as a component of a fibre optic network combines high-precision centring of the coupled ferrules with a diameter of 1.25 mm and very low attenuation on the created connection.

The body of the adapter is made of high-strength plastic and the ferrule guide sleeve of the connectors to be joined is made of ceramic. The adapter is equipped with snap-in handles and M2.2 screw holes, which ensure convenient assembly and disassembly.

The adapters are used in the construction of fibre-optic networks, mainly in fibre-optic switch boxes and subscriber outlets, where they serve to connect pigtails welded to fibre-optic cables with patchcords.
