24U 800x800 dual access STZD IP 55 Outdoor telecommunication cabinet

Outdoor aluminium telecommunication 24U 19" IP55 cabinet on aluminium or steel 2-part 800x800 base

Outdoor aluminium cabinet STZ 18U 19" 800x800 with IP55 protection rating, mounted on a well SK-1 or on a 2-part base.

The cabinet is made of aluminium, the body of the cabinet is fully laser-welded.

The cabinet provides high protection of the equipment inside against flooding and dust. The cabinet has an IP55 protection rating by default. Mechanical impact protection of the cabinet at IK09 level.

The sealing of the cabinet is achieved with three elements:

• Gasket - polyurethane poured on the door, after closing it tightly adheres to the flange in the body of the cabinet, the flange profiled at an angle of 88 degrees creates a gutter for draining water that gets between the door and the frame.
• A separating and filtering cassette on the cabinet's door as protection against a water flow of 12,5l/min in accordance with EN 60529 and a filter mat as a barrier against dust of permeability class M5.
• a separation cassette in the roof of the enclosure providing protection against a water jet of 12.5 l/min in accordance with EN 60529

Three support rails are used to mount equipment inside the enclosure:

• Front Rack rails spaced 19” wide, 135 mm front to back adjustable
• Back Rack rails spaced 19” wide, 135 mm front to back adjustable

Cabinet door mounted on internal steel hinges, locked with a four-point locking system behind the cabinet chamber (proprietary locking system patent pending) . Handle with cylinder lock, possibility to change the cylinder by oneself.

For cable entry, a "MOREK" cable grommet with IP66 protection class was used. The cable entry is made easier by the removable floor plate. A gasket is poured on the junction between the plate and the floor to maintain tightness.

The ceiling of the cabinet provides space for mounting an accessory ventilation panel to ensure that excess heat is extracted from the cabinet. The choice of ventilation panel depends on the needs of the equipment installed inside.

The cabinet is designed to be placed on an appropriate steel or aluminium base supplied by the manufacturer as a foundation accessory, or on any self-made concrete base.
