Extralink CERES (switch extralink ceres ex3906 8x) is a 10-port PoE switch with 4 modes of operation: AI QoS, AI VLAN, AI Exten and smart power mode. The AI QoS mode is ideal for use in monitoring, ensuring smooth image quality by processing video data with highest priority.
The extralink switch has AI VLAN mode, so ports 1-8 are isolated from each other, which helps to effectively suppress public address storms and improves network performance.
In AI Extend mode, ports 1-8 can effectively transmit data and PoE power up to 250 meters, which is ideal for monitoring systems and when powering cameras or access points. In AI PoE mode, the switch automatically detects the operating status of the connected device when it detects that it is not working properly, automatically restarts the device.
