24U 800/600 STZDT IP55 THERMALLY INSULATED DOUBLE-SHELL OUTDOOR CABINET

Product information:

Thermally insulated outdoor double-shell aluminium cabinet STZdt 1318 x 826 x 622 (HxWxD). 24U high 19" rack cabinet with IP55 protection rating.

Thermally insulated 24U 19" outdoor double-shell cabinet; STZDT with external dimensions 1318 x 826 x 622 mm suitable for outdoor mounting on SK-1 cable chambers or 600 x 600 aluminium base.

The cabinet is made of aluminium with fully laser-welded body.

The cabinet provides high protection of the equipment inside against water and dust. The cabinet has a default rating of protection of IP 55 and mechanical impact protection of IK 09.

The sealing of the cabinet is achieved with three elements:

• Gasket - polyurethane poured on the door, after closing it tightly adheres to the flange in the body of the cabinet, the flange profiled at an angle of 88 degrees creates a gutter for draining water that gets between the door and the frame.
• A separating and filtering cassette on the cabinet door to provide protection against a water jet of 12.5 l/min in accordance with EN 60529 standard and a filter mat to provide a barrier against dust.
• A separating cassette in the roof of the cabinet providing protection against a water jet of 12.5 l/min in accordance with EN 60529 standard

For the assembly of equipment inside the cabinet, the following supporting structures are provided:

• Front Rack rails spaced 19” wide, front to back adjustable - 135 mm
• Back Rack rails spaced 19” wide, front to back adjustable - 135 mm

Cabinet door mounted on internal steel hinges, locked with a four-point locking system behind the cabinet chamber (proprietary locking system patent pending) . Handle with cylinder lock, possibility to change the cylinder by oneself.

For cable entry, a IP66 "MOREK" cable grommet was used. The cable entry is made easier by the removable floor plate. A gasket is poured on the junction between the plate and the floor to maintain tightness.

The ceiling of the cabinet provides space for mounting an accessory ventilation panel to ensure that excess heat is extracted from the cabinet. The choice of ventilation panel depends on the needs of the equipment installed inside.

The cabinet is designed to be placed on an appropriate steel or aluminium base supplied by the manufacturer as a foundation accessory, or on any self-made concrete base.

No additional sealing is required at the connection between the cabinet and the base.

Cabinet construction:

1. Outer shell - made of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet (PA-11). It features bends and ribs to reinforce the rigidity of the structure.
2. Internal structure - made of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet (PA-11), welded.
3. The door opening has an aluminium flange around it, appropriately shaped to seal it by pressing against the gasket on the door panel while draining water from the gasket area
4. Double-shell door with 30 mm thick insulation layer
5. Rack rails: height 24U (1156 mm), made of 1.5 mm thick Magnelis sheet metal, front to back adjustment from 0 to 148.5 mm in 13.5 mm increments
6. Locking system:
   a. internal metal hinges - 3 pcs.
   b. handle with airtight lock, operating a four-point locking mechanism, outside the chamber
7. Poured polyurethane gasket
8. Floor plate with multi-hole grey MC 3/7 IP66 MOREK  grommet for insertion of all types of cables and protective tubes with a diameter of 8-60 mm
9. Insulation layer (in walls) 30 mm thick

The guarantee against corrosion for Fibertechnic^® cabinets is 25 years.
